How to Apply Your Press-On Nails
Prep is Key!
-
First, it's super important to wash your hands thoroughly.
-
Use the small wooden stick to gently push back your cuticles and clean up any dead skin. This will expose your entire clean nail bed.
-
Next, take the nail file and lightly buff the surface of your nails in a vertical motion. You want the surface to have a matte (not shiny) finish.
-
Be careful not to file from side-to-side, as this can damage your natural nails.
-
Now, use the alcohol wipe to clean away any dust and oils from every nook and cranny. Let your nails dry completely.
Application Time!
-
Take out the adhesive tabs and choose the size that best fits your nail.
-
Place the tab on your nail and press down firmly in the center.
-
Working from the center, smooth the tab outwards to the edges. Make sure it covers your whole nail bed and there are no air bubbles.
-
Gently peel off the protective film from the tab.
-
Time to apply the nail! Make sure you don't put it on backwards. The base should be near your cuticle, not at the tip of your finger.
-
Line up the artificial nail, leaving about a 1mm gap from your cuticle line, and check that it's centered.
-
Press the nail down at a 45-degree angle, sliding it forward until it meets your cuticle.
-
Finally, press down firmly on the entire nail for at least 30 seconds.
Doing it this way will make your press-on nails much more secure and last a lot longer
